SEO Pricing

SEO Pricing: Clear Plans Starting at $950/Month

Five plans, published prices, no "call for a quote." Every plan includes AI visibility work, Google Business Profile optimization and a monthly report you'll actually read.

25 years of SEO · 50,000+ first-page rankings · 5-star Google reviews

Why is SEO pricing so hard to figure out?

Because most agencies don't publish it. You fill out a form, sit through a sales call, and get a proposal priced on what they think you'll pay. Then it's hard to compare one quote to another, because nobody lists what's actually included.

We think you should know what you're buying before you talk to us. So here it is.

Is SEO worth the cost?

For many businesses, yes, when it's done well. One household appliance retailer grew monthly revenue from $300K to $540K with our SEO. Another client generated $1.2M in organic sales in a single month. Results vary by market, but SEO keeps working after the page is built. Quick definitions

  • Backlinks / citations: links and business listings on other websites that point to you. Search engines and AI tools treat them as votes of trust.
  • LLM mention tracking: each month we check whether AI tools (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and others) name your business for the questions your buyers ask.

What changes the price of SEO?

Your price depends mostly on how hard your market is to win. A plumber in a small town needs far less than a national store selling against Amazon. These five things move the number:

  1. Competition. How strong are the sites already on page one? More competition means more content and links to catch up.
  2. Locations or products. Ten locations or 5,000 products need more pages and more technical work than one shop.
  3. Content volume. How many new pages you need each month to cover the searches your buyers make.
  4. Link building. How many trusted links and listings it takes to compete in your space.
  5. Starting point. A site with serious technical problems needs more work up front.

Which SEO plan is right for my business?

Choose by business type and goal. Local single-location businesses usually fit Starter or Traction. Businesses serving several cities or selling online fit Growth. National e-commerce brands fit Expand or Aggressive. Your free audit will confirm the right fit.

  • Starter ($950/mo starting): a salon, a dentist, a family restaurant, a solo contractor. You want to own your town's map pack and get the basics right.
  • Traction ($1,950/mo starting): a home services company or clinic that wants more calls and wants to start tracking how AI tools talk about them.
  • Growth ($3,600/mo starting): a multi-location local business, or a business with both a local presence and an online store selling nationwide.
  • Expand ($5,500/mo starting): an established e-commerce brand selling nationwide that needs steady category and product content and strong link building.
  • Aggressive ($9,700/mo starting): an e-commerce brand in a crowded category (supplements, CBD, home goods, apparel) going head to head with big national players.

Value tip (even if you never hire us): when you compare SEO quotes, ask each agency for three numbers: pages of content per month, links per month, and who does the work. If a quote can't answer those, you can't compare it.

What's included in every plan?

Every MRB plan, from Starter up, includes:

  • Complete Google Business Profile optimization
  • AI visibility work, so ChatGPT, Gemini and others can find and mention you (about GEO)
  • Internal linking
  • Competition analysis
  • On-page meta updates (titles and descriptions)
  • Keyword research and tracking
  • Initial technical audit
  • Monthly reporting
  • GA4, Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools setup
  • Direct access to the people doing the work, starting with Brian Vastola

How does billing work?

Plans are billed monthly. There are no long-term contracts. You choose month-to-month or a 6-month agreement, and you can cancel either one with 30 days' notice. You can change plans as your business grows. We do recommend giving any plan at least 6 months, because SEO builds over time and early months focus on fixing foundations.

What you can expect:

  • Month-to-month or 6 months. Your choice. No 12-month contract.
  • 30-day cancellation. Give us 30 days' notice to cancel, on either option.
  • Project work quoted per project. Web design, CRO, branding and e-commerce optimization are priced per project, and PPC work is quoted per job, all in writing before any work starts.
  • Clear scope. Your plan lists the content and links included each month.
  • Upgrade any time. Move up a plan when you're ready to grow faster.
  • You own your work. Content, pages and accounts we set up belong to you.

How much does SEO cost per month?

At MRB, SEO plans start at $950/month for small local businesses and range up to $9,700/month for e-commerce brands in highly competitive markets. Most local service businesses fit the Starter or Traction plans. National online stores usually need Expand or Aggressive. Your exact price depends on competition, scope and content volume.

Why do you say "starting at"?

Because markets differ. The starting price covers a typical business in that tier. If your market is unusually competitive or you have many locations or products, the price may be higher. We'll tell you the exact number, and why, after your free audit. No surprises after you sign.

Is GEO (AI search optimization) extra?

No. AI visibility work is included in every plan, starting at $950/month. LLM mention tracking, where we check monthly whether AI tools name your business for buyer questions, is included from the Traction plan up. Learn about GEO

Do I have to sign a contract?

No. There are no long-term contracts. You choose month-to-month or a 6-month agreement, and either one can be canceled with 30 days' notice. We recommend at least 6 months to judge results fairly, because SEO compounds over time and the first months focus on foundations.

Are there setup fees?

Setup work, including your initial technical audit and GA4, Search Console and Bing setup, is included in every plan. If your site needs major rebuild work, like a redesign, we'll quote it separately and in writing before any work starts.

How long until I see results?

Most clients see early movement in 1 to 3 months and meaningful growth in 4 to 12 months. Competitive national markets take longer than local ones. Your monthly report shows progress the whole way.

Can I start small and upgrade later?

Yes. Many clients start on Starter or Traction, prove the results, then move up as they add locations or push into new markets. Changing plans is simple.

What if I need paid ads too?

Our in-house PPC team runs Google Ads and social ads, working alongside our SEO team so your paid and organic plans work together. Ad spend is paid directly to the ad platforms, and our PPC work is quoted per job based on scope, separately from SEO plans. Learn about paid media
