SEO Content Creation That Ranks in Google and Gets Quoted by AI
We write pages built around what your buyers actually search and ask, with the answer up front and the proof to back it. So your content brings in traffic, shows up in AI answers and turns readers into leads.
25 years of SEO · 10,000+ pieces of content published · 5-star Google reviews
Why isn't your content bringing in traffic?
You've done what you were told. You post on the blog every week or two. Some of it was written by a freelancer, some by a tool. It reads fine. But when you check Search Console, most of those posts get a handful of visits a month, and almost none turn into a call.
The usual reason is simple. The posts weren't written to win a specific search. They target topics nobody types, repeat what the top ten results already say, or bury the answer under three paragraphs of warm-up. Google has plenty of that already. So do ChatGPT and Gemini.
Meanwhile, more buyers are getting answers from AI tools without clicking at all. If your content isn't the source those tools quote, a competitor's is. Every month of generic posts is money spent teaching Google that your site isn't the best answer.
What does our SEO content service include?
Our SEO content creation covers planning, writing, optimizing and updating pages that are built to rank in Google and be cited by AI search tools. Here's what you get.
A content plan tied to revenue
Each piece targets a real search with clear buying intent or a question your buyers ask before they buy, so every page has a job.
Your expertise, captured
We interview you or your team for 20 minutes per topic and turn your real experience into the page, so it says something a competitor can't copy.
AI mention tracking
From our Traction plan up, we track whether AI tools like ChatGPT mention your brand for key questions, so you see the impact beyond Google.
Answer-first writing
Each section opens with a direct 40 to 60 word answer, then adds detail. That's what AI tools quote and what busy readers want.
On-page optimization built in
Titles, headings, internal links, images and schema are handled before anything goes live, so pages are ready to rank on day one.
Service and product pages, not just blogs
We write the pages that sell: service pages, category pages, location pages and comparison pages, so content leads straight to revenue.
Content refreshes
We update older posts that have slipped, merge thin ones and remove what's dead weight, so your whole site gets stronger.
6x
impressions in 6 months
What does good content do for a business?
We've published more than 10,000 pieces of content for clients, so we've seen what works and what gets ignored. One example: a store built on Wix whose product and category pages had little useful text and no clear focus.
We planned content around how its buyers searched, wrote useful category and product copy, and linked it all together. In 6 months, impressions grew 6x, clicks grew 2.5x, and organic revenue tripled. Not because we published more, but because each page had a clear job. See more on our results page.

How does our content process work?
We audit your existing content, build a plan in the first two weeks, publish and optimize in months one to three, then keep publishing and refreshing every month.
1. Free audit (a few days)
We show which of your current pages get traffic, which don't, and the topics you're missing.
2. Strategy (weeks 1–2)
Keyword and question research, then a content calendar ranked by business value.
3. Build and optimize (months 1–3)
Interviews, drafts, your review, then publishing. We fix your weakest existing pages in the same window.
4. Monthly reporting and growth
You see traffic, rankings and leads per page, plus AI mentions where tracked, and we adjust the plan.
How does SEO content actually get made each month?
Good content is a production line with quality checks, not a writer staring at a blank page. Every page we publish goes through the same steps.
- Topic choice: We pick the next topics from your content plan, based on what buyers search and what your site is missing.
- Search check: We read the pages that already rank and the AI answers for that topic, to see what a better page would need to cover.
- Brief: A one-page outline sets the main question, the direct answer, the headings and the page it should lead readers to.
- Interview: We ask you or your team the questions only your business can answer: prices, process, common problems and real examples.
- Draft and edit: A senior writer drafts the page in plain language. A second pass checks facts, cuts filler and tightens the answer.
- On-page setup: Title, headings, internal links, images and schema are added before the page goes live.
- Publish and link: The page is published and linked from related pages, so readers and search engines can find it.
- Measure and refresh: We track rankings, clicks and leads per page, and update pages that slip or could do better.
Each month repeats that cycle with new topics, plus a round of refreshes on older pages. Over time the mix shifts from building new pages to keeping your best ones on top.
How much does SEO content creation cost?
Plans start at $950/month, which includes 1 new page of content each month. Higher plans include 4, 9, 15 or more pages a month. What changes the price: how many pages you need, how technical your topic is, and how much research and interviewing each page takes. A medical or legal page takes more care than a general how-to. See every plan on our pricing page.
What affects the cost and timeline of SEO content?
- Number of pages: More pages per month means a higher plan. It also means faster coverage of your topics.
- Topic difficulty: Technical, medical, legal and financial topics need more research and review.
- Your input: Quick interviews and fast approvals keep pages moving. Slow reviews are the most common delay.
- State of existing content: A site with many thin or overlapping posts needs cleanup alongside new writing.
- Competition: Hard topics take longer to rank and often need links as well as content.
There are no long-term contracts. Plans run month-to-month or on a 6-month agreement, with 30 days' notice to cancel.
Who writes your content?
Brian Vastola sets the content strategy using 25 years of SEO experience and reviews what we publish. Our senior writers do the research and drafts, working from interviews with you, not from a quick rewrite of page one. You talk to the people writing your pages. No content mill, no handoffs to people who never learn your business.
How long does SEO content take to rank?
New content usually starts ranking in 2 to 4 months and reaches its peak in 6 to 12 months. A realistic picture:
- Months 1–3: Refreshed pages often climb first. New pages get indexed and start showing for long-tail searches (longer, more specific phrases).
- Months 3–6: New pages move toward page one for their main terms. Leads from content start to show up.
- Months 6–12: Topic groups support each other. Your site starts ranking for terms we never targeted directly, and AI tools mention you more often.
Very competitive topics take longer and usually need links as well.
How can you tell if your content is working?
Start with a quick test you can run on any single page. Then look at your site as a whole.
A quick test for any piece of content
- Does the first paragraph answer the question in plain words?
- Does it include something only your business knows: a price range, a process, a real example?
- Would a buyer trust it more than the top result on Google?
- Does it link to the page where they can buy or contact you?
If the answer is no to any of these, rewrite before you publish.
Warning signs across your whole site
- Most posts get almost no visits: In Search Console, a handful of pages bring nearly all the clicks and the rest bring close to none.
- Traffic without leads: Posts rank for general questions but never send readers to a service or product page.
- Several posts on the same topic: Three thin posts compete with each other where one strong page would rank.
- No dates or authors: Readers and search engines can't tell who wrote a page or whether it is current.
- Old facts: Prices, laws, product names or screenshots are years out of date.
- Service pages are an afterthought: The blog gets all the effort while the pages that sell have a few short paragraphs.
Value tip (even if you never hire us): open Search Console, go to the Performance report and filter for queries that contain "how," "what," "cost" or "best." Sort by impressions. Any question with lots of impressions and few clicks is one your site almost answers. Add a clear heading and a direct two-sentence answer for it on the page that already ranks. This is often the quickest content win there is.
What content mistakes cost the most?
- Publishing AI pages at scale: Don't publish dozens of AI-written pages without human expertise. Google's spam policies target content made at scale mainly to rank, and readers spot it fast.
- No path to a sale: Don't write posts with no link to a service or product page. A reader who is ready has nowhere to go.
- Judging by word count: Longer is not better. Judge a page by whether it answers the search fully and clearly.
- Chasing volume: A topic with huge search numbers and no link to what you sell brings visitors who will never buy.
- Publish and forget: Pages that ranked two years ago slip as competitors update theirs. Refreshing is cheaper than starting over.
- Copying page one: Rewriting what the top results already say gives Google no reason to rank you above them.
How do you write content that AI search will quote?
AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI Overviews build answers from pages they can read, understand and trust. You can't force a mention, but you can make your pages easy to use as a source.
- Lead with the answer: Put a direct answer in the first sentence or two under each heading. Add detail after.
- Use the question as the heading: Headings that match how people ask make it clear which question each section answers.
- Be specific: Real numbers from your own business, steps in order and named examples are easier to quote than general advice.
- Show who is behind it: An author, their experience and a clear About page tell readers and machines why the page can be trusted.
- Keep it current: Update facts and show the date. Stale pages lose out to fresh ones.
- Earn mentions elsewhere: AI tools lean on brands that other sites talk about. Content worth citing helps with that too.

How do you judge a content agency or freelance writer?
Ask who writes the pages and whether they'll interview you. Ask how they choose topics. If the answer is "trending keywords" with no link to your sales, keep looking. A few more questions help:
- Can I see three pages you wrote that rank, and what they rank for? Samples that read well are not the same as samples that perform.
- How do you get my expertise into the page? Look for interviews or detailed questions, not "we'll research it online."
- How do you use AI tools? Research help is fine. Publishing unedited AI drafts is not.
- Who handles titles, links and schema? If the writer delivers a document and stops there, someone else has to finish the job.
- Do you update old content, or only write new? Refreshes are often the faster win.
- How will you report results? You want rankings, clicks and leads per page, not a count of words delivered.
A good freelance writer can be the right choice if you already have a plan and someone to handle the SEO setup. If you need the plan, the writing and the optimization together, look for a team that does all three.
What is SEO content creation?
SEO content creation is planning and writing web pages that rank in search engines and help buyers make a decision. It starts with research into what your customers search, then produces pages that answer those searches better than competing pages. Done well, it brings steady traffic and leads without paying for every click.
What is answer-first content?
Answer-first content puts the direct answer to a question in the first sentence or two under each heading, then adds detail. It helps readers who scan, and it makes your page easier for Google's AI Overviews, ChatGPT and other AI tools to quote. We write every page this way.
How much does SEO content cost?
Our plans start at $950/month with 1 new page per month. Traction includes 4 pages, Growth 9, Expand 15 or more, and Aggressive is custom. Price depends on volume, topic difficulty and research needed. Every page includes on-page optimization and internal linking.
How long until content starts ranking?
Most new pages start ranking in 2 to 4 months and reach their best positions in 6 to 12 months. Refreshing pages that already rank can show gains within weeks. Competitive topics and new websites take longer, and often need links to compete.
Do you use AI to write content?
We use AI tools for research support and outlines, the way a writer uses a search engine. The substance comes from people: our writers, plus interviews with you about your real work. Google's policies target pages made at scale mainly to rank, not AI use itself. What matters is real expertise and usefulness.
Do I have to write anything myself?
No. We ask for about 20 minutes of your time per topic for an interview, plus a quick review before key pages go live. That's how your knowledge gets into the content. If you'd rather skip interviews, we work from your existing materials, but pages are stronger with your input.
Will you update my old blog posts?
Yes. Refreshing older content is often the fastest win. We update facts, sharpen the answer, add missing sections and fix links. Posts that are too thin or overlap with others get merged or removed, so the rest of your site gets stronger.
How does content help me show up in ChatGPT?
AI tools pull from pages that answer clearly and come from sources they see as trusted. Answer-first writing, clear headings, real expertise and mentions of your brand on other sites all help. Our GEO services go deeper on AI visibility.
How long should an SEO article be?
As long as it takes to answer the search fully, and no longer. Some questions need 500 words. A detailed buying guide may need a few thousand. We look at what the searcher needs and what the top pages cover, then write the most useful version. Length is a result, not a goal.
How often should I publish new content?
Steady beats frequent. One strong page a month that targets a real search will do more than four thin posts a week. The right pace depends on how many topics your buyers search and how competitive your market is. Refreshing older pages counts as much as publishing new ones.
