SEO Services for Florida Businesses, From a Team With South Florida Roots

We spent years serving businesses from the Coral Springs and Parkland area before moving our headquarters to Wake Forest, North Carolina. Today we serve Florida clients remotely, with the same senior team and no handoffs.

25 years of SEO · 50,000+ first-page rankings · 5-star Google reviews

Why is it so hard to stand out in Florida search?

Because Florida has more businesses competing for attention than almost anywhere in the country. The U.S. Small Business Administration counts about 3.49 million small businesses in Florida, the third most of any state, behind only California and Texas.

That means every common search, from "AC repair" to "estate attorney," returns a wall of options. Many Florida owners respond by hiring the agency down the street. Some get great work. Others get a sales pitch from a senior person, then monthly reports from someone new each quarter.

If that has happened to you, the issue was not distance. It was who did the work.

What is our connection to Florida?

It is real, and it is in the past tense, and we want to be clear about both.

Before moving to Wake Forest, MRB Marketing was based in South Florida, in the Coral Springs and Parkland area. We worked with Florida businesses there, learned how the market moves through the seasons, and saw how hurricane season can upend a business's plans overnight.

We moved our headquarters to North Carolina. We did not stop serving Florida, and today we work with multiple Florida clients. We do not have a Florida office, and we will not pretend to. What we offer Florida businesses is the same thing we offer everyone: Brian Vastola, 25 years of hands-on SEO, and a senior team of 5 that does the work itself.

How do we work with Florida clients from North Carolina?

Remote work is how most of our clients already work with us, so the process is well tested.

Same time zone

Florida and North Carolina both run on Eastern time, so calls happen during your normal business day.

3x

organic clicks in 12 months for a cannabis brand

Do we get results for clients we never meet in person?

Yes. Some of our best results came from clients across the country.

A California cannabis e-commerce brand worked with us entirely remotely. Within 12 months, organic clicks tripled (3x) and sales grew 50%, and the brand reached the first page for hundreds of key terms. Read the cannabis SEO case study.

Across 25 years, we have earned 50,000+ first-page rankings for clients and once generated $1.2M in organic sales for a client in a single month.

What should every Florida business get right in local search?

These four steps help any Florida business, whether or not you hire us.

1. Update your hours before and after storms. When a hurricane is coming, update your Google Business Profile hours and post a short status update. Customers check, and so does Google. Change it back as soon as you reopen.

2. Plan for the seasons. Many Florida markets get busier in winter. Publish seasonal pages and posts a couple of months before your busy season, so they have time to rank.

3. Consider bilingual content. If many of your customers search in Spanish, Portuguese or Haitian Creole, a well-written page in that language can reach people your competitors ignore. We have Spanish-speaking team members who can help.

4. Do not fake locations. Virtual offices in every city you serve break Google's rules and can get your profile suspended. Real service-area settings and strong content work better over time.

What should you check on your own Florida listing this week?

These checks take a few minutes each, and you can do them all from your phone.

  • Your hours are right, including holidays and storm closures
  • Your service areas list only the places you really serve
  • Your main category matches your top service
  • Your name, address and phone match on your site and your listings
  • Every recent review has a reply
  • If many customers speak Spanish, your key pages exist in Spanish

Value tip: Atlantic hurricane season starts June 1. Set a reminder for that date each year to review your storm plan for your Google Business Profile. Decide who updates the hours, what the closure post will say, and who posts again when you reopen. A plan made on a calm day is the one that gets followed.

How does local SEO change across Florida?

Florida is not one market. What works in one part of the state needs adjusting in another. We are not quoting local numbers here, just the patterns that shape a plan.

  • South Florida: From Miami to Palm Beach, cities run into each other and most categories are crowded. Reviews, strong service pages and content in the languages your customers speak help you stand out. See our Boca Raton and South Florida page.
  • Southwest Florida: Around Cape Coral, Fort Myers and Naples, demand rises and falls with the seasons. Publish seasonal pages early and keep storm updates current. See our Cape Coral page.
  • Central Florida and Tampa Bay: These metro areas spread across many cities and suburbs. Set honest service areas, and build a real page for each city you truly serve.
  • North Florida and the Panhandle: Smaller markets often have fewer strong competitors online. A complete Google Business Profile and a clear website can go a long way.

What about businesses that serve the whole state?

If you sell online or serve customers statewide, city-by-city tactics matter less. Your growth comes from strong service or category pages, links from trusted sites, and content that answers what buyers ask. That is the same work behind our e-commerce SEO results.

How much does SEO cost for a Florida business?

Plans start at $950/month. Price depends on how competitive your category is, how many locations you have, and whether you sell online. Crowded South Florida categories usually need more content and links than a smaller market. See all five plans on our pricing page.

Do you have an office in Florida?

No. Our headquarters, and only office, is in Wake Forest, North Carolina. We were based in South Florida, in the Coral Springs and Parkland area, before moving. Today we serve multiple Florida clients remotely by video and shared reports, and Brian joins your calls himself.

Can a remote agency really help a Florida business rank locally?

Yes. Local rankings depend on your Google Business Profile, your website, your reviews and your links, not on where your agency sits. What matters is understanding your market. Our free audit studies your local competitors before we recommend anything.

How much does SEO cost in Florida?

Plans start at $950/month. A one-location Florida business usually lands on Starter ($950) or Traction ($1,950). Multi-location and e-commerce businesses usually need Growth ($3,600) or more. Your free audit will show which plan fits your market.

How long does SEO take in Florida?

Most local businesses see Google Business Profile gains within 60 to 90 days and steadier leads in 4 to 6 months. Crowded markets like Miami and Fort Lauderdale can take 6 to 12 months. We give you an honest estimate after reviewing your competitors.

What should I do with my Google profile during hurricane season?

Keep your hours accurate. Before a storm, update your hours and post a short status note. After it passes, post again when you reopen. It helps customers, and accurate profiles tend to perform better in local search.

Do you offer AI search optimization for Florida businesses?

Yes. Every plan includes GEO (generative engine optimization), which is work to get your business mentioned by ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI Overviews. Learn more on our GEO services page.

Do you offer SEO in Spanish for Florida businesses?

We have Spanish-speaking team members, so you and your staff can talk with us in Spanish when that is easier. They can also help when Spanish-language pages make sense for your market. We will tell you after the audit if bilingual content is worth it for your business.

Which Florida cities do you serve?

All of them, remotely. We have dedicated pages for Boca Raton and South Florida, and for Cape Coral and Southwest Florida. If you are in Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville or anywhere else in the state, the process is the same: a free audit of your market, then a plan built around your competitors.
