Why does "near me" make choosing an SEO agency confusing?
When you search for an SEO company, Google shows you agencies that look local. Many of them are not. Some agencies list a virtual office or a mailbox in every city they want to rank in. Then the person you meet on the sales call hands you off to someone you never see again.
That matters for two reasons. First, if an agency will fake its own address, think about what it might do with yours. Fake locations break Google's rules and can get a Business Profile suspended. Second, you deserve to know who is doing the work and where they are.
So here is the plain version. MRB Marketing is based in Wake Forest, North Carolina. We do not have offices anywhere else. What we do have is 25 years of local SEO experience, a team of 5 specialists, and 25+ active clients spread across the U.S.
How do we work with businesses in different places?
We work in three rings. The closer you are to Wake Forest, the more in-person time you can have. The work itself is the same everywhere.
The Triangle: in person when it helps. Raleigh is about 25 minutes from our office, Durham and Cary are each about 35 minutes, and Apex is about an hour. Kickoff meetings, site walk-throughs and quarterly reviews can happen at your place or ours. Visits to our office are by appointment, so please reach out ahead of time to schedule a visit. Most weekly work still runs by email and video, because that is faster for you.
The rest of North Carolina: video first. Greensboro is about 1 hour 30 minutes away, Fayetteville and the rest of Eastern NC (Goldsboro, Jacksonville and Wilmington) are about 2 hours, and Charlotte is about 2 hours 30 minutes. We run these engagements on video calls and shared reports. Brian Vastola, our founder, joins those calls himself.
Florida and nationwide: fully remote. We spent years in South Florida, in the Coral Springs and Parkland area, before moving to Wake Forest. We still serve multiple Florida clients, our team includes Spanish-speaking members, and we run e-commerce and multi-location campaigns for clients across the country. Our best-known national results came from clients we never met in person.

No. Our only office is in Wake Forest, NC, at 12400 Wake Union Church Rd. Visits are by appointment, so please reach out ahead of time to schedule a visit. We serve other cities from there, in person within the Triangle and by video everywhere else. Our team of 5 works remote-first, so you get the same people and the same process wherever you are.
