Paid Media

Paid Media That Works With Your SEO, Not Against It

Your PPC and paid social campaigns are run by our in-house PPC team, working alongside our SEO team. They share SEO and AI search data and keep everything pointed at the same goal, so you stop paying twice for the same customers.

25 years of SEO · 50,000+ first-page rankings · 5-star Google reviews

Why do ads and SEO so often waste each other's money?

Because they're usually run by different people with different reports who never compare notes. Your ads team bids on keywords your SEO team already ranks for. Your SEO team doesn't know which ad keywords actually turn into customers. Both send you a report that says things are going well.

Meanwhile, you're the one stuck in the middle. You sit through two monthly calls, read two dashboards that don't match, and still can't answer a basic question: which dollars are bringing in customers?

That gap gets more expensive every year as click costs rise. Without coordination, you may be paying for clicks you'd get free, and ignoring cheap organic wins that ad data could point you to.

Who actually runs your ad campaigns?

Our in-house PPC team runs your campaigns. They work alongside our SEO team, so keyword data, landing pages and tracking are shared from day one. There's no outside agency and no handoff between vendors who never talk.

That shared setup is the part most businesses are missing. Our PPC specialists build and manage your Google Ads and paid social campaigns. Our SEO team shares keyword and search data with them, builds landing pages that convert and rank, and holds both channels to the same business goals. You get one strategy and one senior point of contact, with specialists doing the hands-on ad work.

How do you judge a PPC agency before you hire one?

Ask these six questions. A good agency, ours included, will answer every one without hesitation.

  1. Who owns the ad account? You should. If you leave, your account, history and data should stay with you.
  2. How is the fee calculated? Per project, a flat monthly fee, a percentage of spend or a mix. Know exactly what you pay on top of your ad spend, and make sure the spend itself goes straight to the ad platforms.
  3. What counts as a conversion? A page view or button click is not a lead. Insist on calls, form submissions or sales tracked properly.
  4. Will you show me the search terms report? This shows the actual searches that triggered your ads. It's where wasted spend hides.
  5. How do you handle keywords we already rank for organically? The honest answer is "we test it," not "we always bid" or "we never bid."
  6. What happens in the first 90 days? Expect a learning period and clear checkpoints, not instant results.

A mistake to avoid: Sending ad traffic to your homepage. A focused landing page that matches the ad usually converts far better, and it can often rank organically too.

clicks in seven months for a national pest control company

What does strong organic data bring to an ad campaign?

We don't publish paid media case studies on this page. What we bring to every ad account is search data, and it's strong.

For a national pest control company, our SEO work grew clicks 300% and impressions 250% in seven months. That kind of growth produces a detailed map of which searches bring traffic and which pages earn the click. When ads and SEO share that map, your ad budget can focus on gaps instead of duplicating what organic already does. Read the pest control SEO case study.

How does paid media with MRB work?

1. Free audit

We review your SEO, rankings and, if you have one, your current ad account structure.

2. Strategy (week 1–2)

We set shared goals and map which keywords each channel should own.

3. Launch and optimize (month 1–3)

Our PPC team builds or restructures your campaigns. Our SEO team handles landing pages, tracking and data sharing.

4. Monthly reporting and growth

One report covering organic and paid, with the next month's priorities for both.

How much does paid media cost?

There are two parts. Your ad spend is paid directly to Google, Meta or the other ad platforms, not to us. Our PPC work is quoted per job, based on the scope of the work, rather than charged as a fixed monthly management fee. Paid media is priced separately from our SEO plans, which start at $950/month if you want both. You'll see every cost in writing before anything starts. See SEO pricing.

Who's responsible for your ads?

Brian Vastola, our founder, is your strategic point of contact. With 25 years in SEO, he knows how search data should shape ad strategy and joins your strategy calls. Our in-house PPC specialists run the day-to-day campaigns. Our SEO specialists handle landing pages, content and tracking. Both work from the same plan and the same data.

What should you expect from paid media, and when?

  • Weeks 1–4: Tracking fixed, campaigns built or restructured. Ad platforms enter a learning period.
  • Months 1–3: Wasted spend gets trimmed using search terms and organic data. Cost per lead usually becomes more predictable.
  • Months 3–6: Landing pages built for ads start ranking organically, and channel overlap is clearer.

Ads can bring traffic fast, but profit takes tuning. No one can promise a cost per lead before seeing your market.

Do you run PPC campaigns yourselves?

Yes. Our in-house PPC team runs your Google Ads and paid social campaigns, working alongside our SEO team. Together they share SEO and AI search data, build landing pages and keep both channels aligned. You get specialist ad management and one senior point of contact, without hiring a second agency.

How much does PPC management cost?

You pay two things. Your ad spend goes directly to the ad platforms, such as Google or Meta. Our PPC work is quoted per job, based on the scope of the work, not as a fixed monthly management fee. Paid media is priced separately from SEO plans, which start at $950/month. Everything is laid out in writing before you commit.

Who will manage my ad account?

Our in-house PPC team. You'll know exactly who works on your account and can talk to them directly. Brian stays involved in strategy, so your ad plan and your SEO plan never pull in different directions.

Should I run ads if I already rank organically?

Sometimes. Ads on terms you already rank for can add sales by taking more space on the page, or they can just pay for clicks you'd get free. The answer comes from testing, which our PPC and SEO teams set up and read together.

How long until paid ads work?

Ads can drive traffic within days of launch. Most accounts need four to twelve weeks of learning and tuning before cost per lead settles. Expect steady improvement over the first three months, not instant profit.

Do you handle Facebook and Instagram ads?

Yes. Our PPC team runs paid social campaigns on Meta and other platforms, aligned with your messaging, offers and content so your brand says the same thing everywhere.

Will I own my ad accounts?

You should, and we'll make sure of it. Your ad accounts stay in your name, with access for our team. If you ever leave, your account history and data stay with you.

Can you work with my current ad agency?

Yes. If you're happy with your current ad team, our SEO team can coordinate with them directly by sharing keyword data, aligning landing pages and joining their reporting calls. If you'd rather have one team, our in-house PPC team can take over the account.
